White Tara ( Drolma in Tibetan) is a female manifestation of enlightened energy; she is very popular in Tibetan Buddhism. There are 21 manifestations of Tara; the most important are White Tara and Green Tara. Typical for her manifestation are the seven eyes in head, palms and soles, and she is sitting in a perfect lotus position. In her left hand she is holding the stem of a white lotus.
