Shasta Sage or Blue Sage (Artemisia Tridentata) comes from the area of Mount Shasta in northern California. It is said that it has a strong yin energy and therefore is ideal for preparation for a meditation or healing ceremony. Mount Shasta is known as one of the seven sacred mountains of this world. Therefore, smoke bundles of Shasta Sage are very special. A bundle of this Shasta Sage is therefore very popular for smudging someone’s aura or energetically cleansing rooms.
How to use
Light the top of the smudge stick, fanning air untill the flame goes out, and let it smoulder. Do the smudging ceremony in the way familiair to you. For example, by moving the smoking stick from top to bottom along the auric body, or walk counter-clockwise across the room you want to energetically purify. Ventilate well. At the end of the session or ceremony, you can extinguish the bundle again (check carefully that it is actually out) and save it for a next use.
