Ratnasambhava Buddha is one of the five Dhyani Buddhas and his name means “Born from a jewel”. Ratnasambhava represents the wisdom of equanimity. His hands are in the mudra of giving, his main quality and his colour of visualisation is yellow. Ratnasambhava offers love, material staility and dharma, the Buddha’s teachings. Ratnasambhavas mandala and mantras are aimed at developing of equanimity and equality among menkind, and to destroy greed, stinginess and arrogance. His mantra is Om Ah Ratnasambhava Hum.
Nowadays you will find in many homes a meditation corner, with a favourite Buddha’s statue, flowers, candles, scents and pictures of loved ones. It is the place one can have his or her daily moment of reflection, contemplation and meditation.
