Star of Bethlehem – Transforming Shock
Star of Bethlehem is helpful in any situation where shock or trauma of any kind has been experienced, whether immediate or in the past. If this essence is given immediately in situations of shock and trauma it will help to take away the numbing effect and assist recovery. This should obviously not replace medical assistance, but could enhance it. This remedy can be very beneficial for those who retain shock or trauma at some level from past situations and events. Situations such as bereavement, accident, sudden loss of job, divorce, bad news etc are all situations that might call for the help of Star of Bethlehem.
How should Bach Flower Remedies be used?
Bach Flower Remedies can be used directly from the bottle, or can be diluted into a treatment bottle as suggested by Dr Bach. A treatment bottle can contain one single essence or a combination of up to eight different essences.
Making a Combination
Making a Bach Flower Remedy combination is simple and easy: put 2 drops from each of the Remedies you require into a clean glass dropper bottle containing up to 30ml of spring water, and adding a teaspoon full of brandy or cider vinegar as a preservative if you wish.
Alternatively you can put 4 drops of each remedy required into a glass of water. You can combine up to 8 Remedies in one glass.
How to use
Direct Use from the bottle: Take 2 drops on the tongue. Preferably take 10 minutes away from food and drink.
In general it is suggested using a remedy for two to four weeks before reviewing its effect.
Diluted Combination: For a normal adult dosage take 4 drops on the tongue (or a sip from your glass of water) 8 times a day, or every 30 to 60 minutes for acute states.
